Since we set up Deckchairstripes, we have received many requests from customers who loved our fabrics, but did not have a folding wooden deckchair frame lurking in their shed! Or worse, they had recently thrown them on the bonfire! Many prefer the quirkiness and lovely worn wood of older deck chairs with family history and almost everyone has fond memories of pleasurable childhoods spent on the beach.

We now do 'our bit' for recycling and sell deckchairs from our website as a service to our customers. They are all lovely quirky vintage ones, so please do not expect perfection and forgive the odd woodworm hole - we will make them as safe and sturdy as possible - they are all treated with Cuprinol wood preservative and teak oiled after a thorough scrub n' bleach!

Each deck chair is individual, lovingly and individually restored by hand and recovered to order in any deckchair canvas from our range. Please be aware that because of the way in which we source our vintage deckchairs that few are ever the same and rarely come in 'pairs'.

Our Vintage Deckchairs usually take between 1 week to 10 days from ordering, but please let us know if there is a 'rush' and we will try to help.

However if you would like to find your own you may be able to pick one up at a carboot sale or local Auction Room and recover with our Deck Chair Canvas.
